Marketing

Our services do not begin and end with the golf course design. A unique component of von Hagge, Smelek & Baril’s success has been our integrated marketing plan. This process begins with pre-construction consultation activities, including on-going assistance in the public relations and promotion of each new facility, and continues for several years beyond the opening of the new facility. Additionally, we conduct unique walking tours throughout the development of the project to educate the buyers with our personal philosophy.

Formulation of Private Clubs

For private clubs, vHS&B will assist in formulating the Board of Governors and the Charter Group of Members. We fully participate in media announcements and presentation events. As previous golf club owners and operators, we have unique insight into all aspects of land planning and golf course development, sales and operations. We understand the project from our client's perspective and we are able to anticipate potential problems and offer knowledgeable solutions.

Greens Committee

Von Hagge, Smelek & Baril always provides consultation for maintenance and course maturation. In fact, we commit to participate as a member of the greens committee for three years following completion of the course, helping to ensure a successful operating transition.

Funding

Over the years, vHS&B has carefully cultivated several funding sources for our client's golf course construction and total development needs. Depending on your specific need, we can introduce traditional golf course debt financing, joint ventures, private bonds sales and golf real estate investment trusts (REITS).
